Natray Consulting Group

Our values

Shared excellence.

The firm's signature is not a slogan. It describes a way of working: expertise is worth something only if it benefits the client it serves, and only if it leaves something behind.

Our signature

What "shared" means.

Expertise that stays inside the report has served no purpose. We consider an engagement successful when the client understands what we did, why we did it, and what they should take from it. That means explaining rather than concluding, and accepting that our work will be questioned.

The same applies to the client's own teams. Our engagements leave behind written procedures, usable tools and people who have been trained. A firm whose departure creates a vacuum has not done its job.

Our principles

Five operating principles.

Ethics

Ethics and professional conduct

Our relationships are built on listening and on understanding the client's actual environment. They are conducted in strict compliance with professional conduct standards, which are not negotiable.

  • Refusal of any engagement creating a conflict of interest
  • Positions stated as they are found, including when unwelcome
  • Warnings given before a transaction is committed to, not after
  • Referral to another firm where the need falls outside our field
Quality

Quality as a condition of practice

In our professions quality is not an extra: it is what makes the engagement valid. It comes from maintained competence, written procedures and current tools — and from regularly questioning all three.

  • A written methodology applied to every engagement, including contractual ones
  • Documented working files and independent review before release
  • Continuing professional development for the firm's professionals
  • Submission to the profession's quality control regime
Expertise

Breadth of expertise

The firm's strength lies in the range of disciplines it brings together. Accountancy, audit, valuation, tax, organisation: they speak to one another, and handling them together produces judgements none would produce alone.

  • One file examined from the accounting, tax, legal and financial angles
  • An international audit culture applied to everyday engagements
  • Simultaneous command of French GAAP, IFRS and the revised SYSCOHADA
  • Partners trained in the international audit firms
Independence

Independence, before any commitment

It is not a stance but an obligation, tested at each engagement acceptance. A firm that depends economically on its client cannot contradict that client, and loses the very point of its involvement.

  • Formal independence check before any acceptance
  • Strict separation between statutory audit and other services
  • No fee contingent on the outcome of a transaction
  • No commission received from any third party we refer clients to
Confidentiality

Professional secrecy

It covers all of our work, without time limit. That is why the firm publishes no client names — even where the engagement went well and the client would consent.

  • No client information disclosed to third parties
  • No named references published on our materials
  • Secure transmission channels for sensitive documents
  • Confidentiality undertakings extended to everyone involved

Our commitments

What you can hold us to.

Values that nothing could ever disprove are worthless. The following can be checked, engagement after engagement.

  • A written engagement letter before any work begins
  • Fees agreed in advance, with no billing that drifts along the way
  • A reply within two working days to any incoming enquiry
  • A progress update at each stage, and immediate warning if difficulty arises
  • An oral debrief as a matter of course, alongside the written report
  • Recommendations ranked and costed, never an undifferentiated list
  • An explicit refusal of any engagement we would not be able to deliver
