Natray Consulting Group

The firm

An audit culture, applied across every practice.

Natray Consulting Group was founded in 2008 in Paris La Défense. The firm brings accountancy, audit, valuation and advisory together in a single structure, and works in France as well as across the UEMOA and CEMAC zones.

Where we come from

What the firm owes to its years in international audit.

The firm was founded by professionals trained in the international audit firms. That origin still shapes how we work: a written methodology, documented files, systematic review before release. It is audit discipline, applied to every engagement — including those that do not require it.

That standard has a cost: it takes time and rarely shows in the final deliverable. What it does produce is conclusions that hold when they are challenged, which is precisely what a firm is expected to deliver once a decision becomes difficult.

How we are organised

The structure of the firm.

Structure

Four departments

Each practice has its own department, with its own methods and tools. Files move between them where the client's situation calls for it.

  • Accountancy — bookkeeping, tax, payroll, corporate
  • Audit — statutory and contractual audit
  • Valuation — businesses, shares and damages
  • Advisory — organisation, funding, development
Responsibility

Signing partners

Every engagement is placed under the responsibility of a signing partner, who puts their signature to the conclusions delivered and answers for the work performed.

  • Independence check before acceptance
  • A written engagement letter before any work begins
  • Independent review of the file before release
  • Oral debrief to management alongside the report
Footprint

Frameworks

Four frameworks applied

  • French GAAP
  • International standards — IFRS
  • Revised SYSCOHADA for the OHADA zone
  • US GAAP for subsidiaries of American groups

How we work

The path an engagement takes.

01

Acceptance

Review of the request, verification of the firm's independence from the entity, and an honest assessment of our capacity to carry out the work.

02

Allocation

The engagement is assigned to the relevant department and placed under a signing partner, named in the engagement letter itself.

03

Execution

Work follows the firm's written methodology. Obstacles are reported to the client as they arise, not on delivery.

04

Delivery

Independent review of the file, then delivery of the report with an oral debrief and ranked recommendations.
