Accountancy

Reliable accounts, delivered on time.

Our Accountancy department produces and secures your financial information, together with its tax, employment and corporate consequences. The same people follow the file from one year to the next.

Our role

Produce the numbers, then make them useful.

Bookkeeping and statutory accounts answer a legal and tax obligation first. But accounts that appear three months after the year end, and that nobody discusses, serve only the tax authorities. The department produces information you can act on: interim statements, management dashboards, year-on-year comparisons, variance analysis.

Accountancy does not stop at the balance sheet. It carries tax, employment and corporate consequences that are best prepared in advance: choosing a regime, structuring remuneration, agreements between the company and its directors, transactions on the share capital. All four strands sit within the same department, which prevents decisions being taken in isolation.

Our services

Four inseparable strands.

Accounting

Bookkeeping, review and statutory accounts

Depending on the arrangement, the firm keeps the books or supervises your internal team, then secures the year-end close.

  • Bookkeeping
  • Review and supervision of the internal team's work
  • Preparation of statutory accounts
  • Interim statements and periodic reporting
  • Group consolidation
  • French GAAP, IFRS and the revised SYSCOHADA framework
Management information

Management tools and forecasts

Documents designed for decisions, not for archiving: dashboards, budgets, cash flow forecasts and variance commentary.

  • Dashboards and performance indicators
  • Budget and funding plan
  • Trading and cash flow forecasts
  • Variance analysis and commentary on the accounts
  • Outsourced finance function
Tax

Corporate and personal taxation

A reassessment always costs more than a preventive review. Positions are secured before the authorities take an interest in them.

  • Routine tax returns, VAT and the annual tax pack
  • Assistance and representation during a tax audit
  • Transfer pricing and intra-group transactions
  • Taxation of directors and distributions
  • Compliance review and securing of tax positions
Payroll

Payroll and HR administration

Accurate, punctual payroll, and the obligations that come with it.

  • Preparation of payslips
  • Associated social security returns
  • Joining and leaving formalities
  • Monitoring of collective agreement obligations
Corporate

Company secretarial

The formal acts of corporate life, prepared and executed in the proper form and on time.

  • Approval of accounts: directors' report, special report, general meetings
  • Related-party agreements between the company and its directors
  • Change of registered office and change of director
  • Share transfers and movements in the share register
  • Support during insolvency proceedings

Watch points

Deadlines that cannot be recovered.

Some obligations admit no delay: missing them means penalties, the loss of a right, or personal liability for the director. The department tracks them against the calendar.

  • Filing of the annual tax pack
  • Approval of accounts within six months of the year end
  • Filing of annual accounts with the registry
  • VAT returns and instalments
  • Periodic social security returns
  • Electronic invoicing: the phased implementation timetable
  • Convening and holding general meetings

How it runs

From taking over the file to final reporting.

01

Taking over

Recovery of the prior year data, understanding of the existing accounting organisation, and identification of any points left open.

02

Organisation

Definition of the document flow, the production calendar and the contacts on both sides. An engagement letter setting out the precise scope.

03

Production

Bookkeeping or supervision as agreed, interim statements at the agreed dates, and alerts during the year whenever a point warrants one.

04

Close and reporting

Preparation of the statutory accounts, treatment of the tax and corporate consequences, then a commented presentation to management.
